As indicated earlier, this is a One-Year M.A. programme running for 12 months. Consequently, there are two semesters of teaching and examinations. In the first semester, students are required to take four (4) courses, designated as core courses, and three (3) courses designated as prescribed elective courses (See Table 1). Thus, the total credits taken for the first semester is 21 credits, as indicated in Table 1.

EXAMINATIONS
Please note that the minimum pass grade for all taught courses at the University of Ghana is a grade C.
The minimum pass grade for both EPMP680: Economic Policy Seminar and EPMP660: Research Project/Long Essay is grade B.
A student who obtains a grade D or F in any course is required to re-sit the examination.
To be eligible to graduate from the University of Ghana with the degree M.A. Economic Policy Management, students will require a minimum Final Grade Point Average (FGPA) of 2.5.
